Cherupushpam English Medium School was established in 2007 by the Missionary Sisters of St. Therese of Infant Jesus (MSST),Quilon, in their Golden Jubilee year. The Congregation was founded in 1959, by Rt.Rev. Dr. Jerome M. Fernandez the Bishop of Quilon and its charism focus on education health and upliftment of the poor and down – trodden. The management has three leading ICSE schools - - Infant Jesus School Mavelikara and St Joseph School Cheriyanad and Cherupushpam Malayalam Medium School , Umayanalloor besides three leading hospitals and several convents.
